Black College Tour

Most students are afforded the chance to visit one or two colleges during their high school years. However, through the DST-IAC Black College Tour, students will have an opportunity to visit nine (9) to ten (10) colleges and universities in less than one week! WOW, what an opportunity! In addition to the Tour being a “once in a lifetime opportunity” for most families, the Tour is extremely affordable. This Tour allows students a chance to talk with administrators, admissions officers, current students, faculty, and staff. Students can ask direct questions, explore scholarship possibilities, look at residence halls, investigate extracurricular activities, and make comparisons to colleges and universities in states they may be interested in, but perhaps never considered a real possibility. Many students have reported…

“I never knew about HBCUs.”  “I’m so glad I came.”  “I can really see myself here…”

In the 30+ years of its existence, the Indianapolis Alumnae Chapter (IAC) has taken over 1,424 high school students on campus tours of over 30
Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
